We are an independent Huddersfield based business set up by business machine engineer Andrew Downey after years of working under the machines for larger companies Andrew got fed up with businesses having the wrong type of machines for their needs as they were sold the hot new product or upgraded to a new machine which was totally unsuitable for the needs of the business.

So Independent Business Machines was born in Huddersfield to give the best advice to every business and treat all companies as individuals, so they could get the best value in-house printing and business machine servicing for their own needs.

A busy office will no doubt need a good service back up plan for their equipment, and an all inclusive contract is a good way to insure against all eventualities, the costs will depend on volume and include a five year guarantee, service, spare parts and consumables including toner.

On site response times are important and it makes sense to choose a local dealer as much as it is for the dealer to choose local customers, this has been our policy to insure a less than 4 hour service call response time to all our customers, that means if you have an issue with your machine and you are our client then we will be with you within 4 hours of your phone call, we can’t say fairer than that! We can also monitor your machines remotely and receive electronic alerts to problems, creating a proactive service support structure.
